The mother in the poem "The Mother" by Gwendolyn Brooks does not explicitly dream of dying, but she does express feelings of guilt and sorrow over the abortions she has had. She describes the lost children as "the voices of my dim killed children" and expresses a sense of longing and regret for the lives that were never lived. While she does not directly mention dreaming of dying, her feelings of grief and loss suggest a deep emotional struggle with the choices she has made. **

Dreams about deceased loved ones, such as a mother, can be a way for the subconscious mind to process grief and longing for their presence. Seeing your deceased mother in a dream may symbolize unresolved emotions or a desire for guidance and support. It could also be a way for your mind to find comfort and closure, or to remind you of the love and wisdom she brought into your life. Reflecting on the emotions and interactions in the dream can help you understand and process your feelings about her passing. **

The dead mother and her child likely have a perspective of longing and yearning for the connection they once shared. They may also have a sense of unfinished business or unresolved emotions, as well as a desire to communicate and connect with each other despite being separated by death. Their perspective may also be one of love and a deep bond that transcends the physical realm. **

It's possible that your mother may struggle with taking responsibility for her actions or emotions, leading her to avoid showing insight and instead portray herself as the victim. This behavior could stem from deeper emotional issues, past experiences, or a lack of self-awareness. It may be helpful to have an open and honest conversation with her about how her behavior affects you and explore the possibility of seeking therapy or counseling to address these patterns. **

Dreams can be influenced by a variety of factors, including our emotions, experiences, and subconscious thoughts. Dreaming poorly about your mother could be a reflection of unresolved issues or conflicts in your relationship with her, or it could be a manifestation of underlying fears or anxieties. It's important to explore these dreams further and consider how they may be connected to your waking life and emotions in order to gain a better understanding of their meaning. **
